Want the chance to gain first-hand experience in working at a multi-venue music festival?
Brighten The Corners Festival has a number of exciting opportunities available. Be part of a festival team, whether you’re interested in being the friendly face of the festival, sound and production, capturing and creating content, or the general behind the scenes running of a festival!
You will be able to learn new skills and experience the workings of a festival, while meeting new people and having fun!
VOLUNTEER ROLES

Runners will assist the FOH engineer and stage manager with any minor tasks they may need completing i.e. cable running, lunch runs and other general lugging around.
Stagehands will assist the FOH engineer and stage manager in moving artists equipment on and off stage to ensure changeovers are swift and efficient. This role will include assisting the FOH engineer and stage manager setup the stage to their standards. A moderate level of technical knowledge in sound will be required for this role.
Artist Liaisons meet and greet artists to the venue in a warm and friendly manner, and ensuring artists have what they need while responding to any requests.

As an event steward you will be checking wristbands, acting as a guide and being the face of the festival when welcoming visitors to the venue and collecting audience feedback.
Box Office assistants welcome visitors, exchange tickets for wristbands, and sell tickets and merchandise.
To assist with the running of the festival bars, replenishing stock and using the till in a fast paced environment.

Capturing content to share with the social media manager.
Taking photos and capturing content around the festival, capturing images to a high professional standard. These spaces are limited.
On the registration form make sure to tell us a bit about yourself, the areas you're interested in most, and your availability over the festival.
All volunteers will receive a free weekend wristband to enjoy the festival when not on shift, in addition to a festival crew t-shirt and some refreshments.
